Forbidding smokes, which has become a controversial topic in the last century, is an important issue for smokers. It is essential that smoking be banned due to healthy problems and bad effects on non-smokers. Although most smokers argue that smoking is the only means of relaxing, WHO(World Health Organization) tests indicate that a great deal of people, who suffer from lung cancer, addict to smoking. To begin with, this bad habit is risky for health especially for heavy smokers. For instance,it leads to throat cancer. Moreover, this disease effects humanbeings fatally. According to official WHO figures, approximately 200.000 people die in the world every year. Secondly, it has also bad effects on non-smokers. To illustrate , non-smokers don't have a filter coming from outside so they suffer more. However, opponents of forbidding smokes claim that many people at tobacco fields and farmers will be unemployed. This argument is erroneous because there are several fields for workers and farmers in the world. To conclude , it is crucial that smoking be banned urgently and humanbeings should start to protect the planet before time is too late.

Up is a comedy,drama and adventure movie which is about 78 year old balloon salesman, Carl Fredricks who ties many balloons to his house to fly to South America. Because his wife, Elleie wants to go far a trip to Pradise Falls but she dies when Carl finally buys the tickets. Carl turns his house into on airship using a lot of helium balloons. Moreover, 8-year-old Wilderness, Explorer, Russell helps Carl for this trip. They encounter with many unusual and adventurous events in the trip. I think that up has a great story. The scenes are very meaningful and thoughtful. We can learn that life can be sweet and bitter in turns. The saddest and happiest part is at the end. Up must be watched.

City of Angels is one of the most effective romantic movies I have ever watched. The movie begins with a lot of angels walking on the roofs of buildings in Los Angeles. Seth(Nicolas Cage) is one of the angels who watch over humans and try to protect them. However, his main responsibility is to appear to the people who are close to death and he guides them to the other world. Seth is impressed by the efforts of the surgeon, Maggie Rice(Meg Ryan) to save a man's life while he is waiting to bring the man to the otther world who can't survive from a heart surgery.Seth is deeply in love with Maggie so he decides to become human for her leaving his eternity behind. Seth turns into a mortal man from an immortal angel. The movie has great actors, great music and a good story which goes towards a very emotional end. It is a very deep love story that I highly recommend you to watch.

Life Is Beautiful

Life is Beautiful is an Italian movie which tells the story of a wonderful father, a wonderful wife and a wonderful son. Guida, played by Roberto Benigni, is a humorous waiter and he creates a beautiful life for his wife Dora,(Nicoletta Braschi), and his son Joshua (Giorgio Contarini). However, this beautiful life is threatened by World War2 and they are sent to a Nazi concentration camp. Guida must be strong to save his wife and his son. He convinces Joshua that the camp is just a game and the first person who gets 1000 points wins a tank. He tells Joshua that if he cries and complains that he is hungry, he will lose points. Benigni protects his son with humor and imagination. I think that this movie is about love, optimism and courage other than war. The music is very effective, as well. It is such an unforgettable movie that I highly recommend it for everyone.

VEDA

Veda is very good movie that shows Atatürk's life story with a different details that none of us do not know until today.It is written by Salih Bozok who is Atatürk's childhood friend and assistant. The movie is directed by Zülfü Livaneli and the music, produced by him, is so effective. This movie begins in Selanik where Atatürk was born in 1881 and ends in Dolmabahçe Palace where Atatürk died in 1938. It depicts Atatürk's childhood years, his being a successful soldier and commander, his changing the fate of the country , his marriage and his death. Veda not only shows Atatürk's life story but also sheds light on one period and it makes known Atatürk to all of the world.When I watched the movie, I realized one more time that Atatürk is a very special person and no one can be like him. Atatürk does not think his own life and the country is above everything for him. Moreover, he challanges to death to save the country. It is a successful and special movie that worths watching.

LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE

Little Miss Sunshine is an American comedy, drama and adventurous movie. You can find everything which you encounter with in life in this movie. Sometimes you laugh and sometimes you feel sorry. It is about a family who are determined to get their seven-year-old daughter, Olive( Abigail Breslin) to the finals of beauty contest in California. The father is Richard( Greg Kinnear) who is unsuccessful speaker and obsessed with winning. The mother, Sherly(Toni Collette) values the family and she tries to hold them together. Grandpa (Alan Arkin) prepares Olive for the contest Uncle Frank(Steve Carell) is the number one Proust Scholar in the world and he has attempted suicide because he falls in love with a boy who loves another boy. Dwayne ( Paul Dano) has not spoken for nine months. He reads Nietzsche and he decides not to speak until he gets into a flight school. Along with the way , they must deal with heartbreaks, misfortunes and a broken down lovely bus. Eveyone has their own fault and each comes into light as the movie progresses. However, they learn to trust and support each other. Everybody learns to be losers. In fact, losers are absolutely winners in this movie. Little Miss Sunshine is a sincere and real family story. The movie is for all ages. All of the characters act perfectly. The soundtrack matches with the expressions and body language of the characters. You will be shocked at the end of the movie. I strongly recommend you to watch this movie and I am sure that you will like it.
